Online Sales Overview
This section provides reference architecture diagrams for integrating your sales portals with SECUTIX APIs. Three website integration architectures are available, ranging from simple to fully custom. Choose the one that best matches your flexibility needs and development capacity.
Example use cases
- Display your event catalog on your own website and redirect to the SECUTIX ticketshop to purchase.
- Build a custom browsing and cart experience, then hand off to the SECUTIX checkout for payment.
- Build a fully custom ticketshop end to end — catalog, cart, payment, and delivery through the APIs.
- Take PCI-compliant card payments with the payment widget, including installment payments.
- Integrate interactive seat maps for online seat selection.
- Recommend related products at checkout and present cancellation-insurance quotes.
- Support alternative payment methods (ANCV, local methods).
- Shield the portal against traffic peaks with Peak Protect.
Website integration architectures
| Architecture | Description | Complexity | Flexibility |
|---|---|---|---|
| Catalog Display | Display events on your website, redirect to the standard ticketshop for purchases | Low | Low |
| Partial Integration | Custom browsing and cart on your website, hand off to SECUTIX checkout for payment | Medium | Medium |
| End-to-End | Fully custom ticketshop — catalog, cart, payment, and delivery all handled via APIs | High | High |
How to choose:
-
Catalog Display is the quickest to implement. Your website fetches and displays the event catalog, but all purchasing happens on the standard SECUTIX Ticketshop. Ideal when you want branded event listings without building any transactional flow.
-
Partial Integration gives you control over the browsing and cart experience (product display, seat selection, cart management) while SECUTIX handles the checkout, payment, and order finalization. This is a good balance when you want a custom shopping experience but prefer not to handle PCI-compliant payment processing.
-
End-to-End gives you complete control over every step of the purchase journey — from catalog display through payment to ticket delivery. This requires the most development effort, including integration of the Payment Widget for PCI compliance, but allows you to build a fully tailored ticketing experience.
